February's Crafts

This month I did a couple little craft projects:




First I made Valentine scratchers with dish soap and acrylic paint.






Then I made a little Scripture decor to help me memorize Prov 31 this year ( my New Year's Resolution)




Then I made a menu board for the kitchen (we're gradually going no paper with more things!)



I painted a cheap frame I had



Then I wrote out the days of the week for the menu



The plan is to write each week's menu on the glass with a dry erase marker and reuse it each week!

Oscar Night!

One of our fave nights of the year! What a good Oscar show it was! We joined Mum and Dad Shaw for the evening.

A Day in the Life 0f Westly

I start the morning hanging out on Mama's bed with Mouse and a good book

When the day warms up I go for a walk

I practice my mad soccer skills

I go on a little adventure

After a good nap I work on my latch puzzle

Then I have a play date with my buddy Hudson

Nothing feels better at the end of a fun day than a bath

Nighty- night!

A Shaw Valentine

We spent a cozy relaxing Valentine's Day at home together, just our little family of three.

We had an elegant dinner at home

West and I surprised Daddy with hot chocolate and pink rice krispy treats when he got home from work

There were lots of Valentines shared. These are from Daddy to Mama and accompanied a new set of PJs

Mama made Daddy Valentine scratchers. Each heart revealed a special treat.

West gave Daddy his home-made Valentine and a Little Ceasar's gift card.

Mama gave Daddy a 'Love Notes' memo board she made from a picture frame and scrapbook paper. Now we can write little reminders and love notes to each other on the glass with dry erase markers!

And we kept our tradition of five years now and ate our heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's!

Valentine's Day is a week away, so we had to get the Manor up to speed.

The Happiest Place on Earth

Hi, everybody! Westly here. I just got home from visiting Disneyland for the very first time. I loved it! Here are some highlights of my adventures!

I was very excited to finally get there!

Can we go in yet, Daddy?

I brought my little Goofy along for the fun

I have the best great-grandma Mimi in the whole world!

In line for my very first ride ever: Peter Pan!

Ready to fly to Neverland

The Carousel was my absolute favorite! I spotted it as soon as I entered Fantasyland

Dumbo was my second favorite. I was very sad when it was over

Whoever lives here is just my size!

I got my first Mickey ears with my name embroidered on them. I also got a special button since this was my first Disneyland visit

I need to work on smiling for pictures

I liked Pooh's ride, though it was very blustery at times

Tarzan's Tree House was very fun since there were interactive things for me to do

Everywhere we went there were things to notice and things for Mama and Daddy to point out

I can't wait to return soon!
