Last Eight Days...

Here are the last four days of our 8 NIghts of Christmas. We finished today, to leave lots of room for Christmas day presents!

Day 5: purple clutch purse, green scarf, and pocket calendar
Day 6: Turquoise-colored satchel purse from Target
Day 7: Gray button up sweater from Target
Day 8: light frosty blue topaz and white gold necklace with matching earring studs...absolutely beautiful and unique. The light blue is a little reminder of our baby boy to come

It's been a great Christmas so far and the day has yet to come!

Eight Days and Counting...

Today was day 4 of our Christmas gift-giving. Here's a little summary of my gifts from Michael so far...

Day 1: Taylor Swift's new CD--I've decided I like her as an artist and I like her music
Day 2: speakers for my iPod--I like to listen to my iPod while I get ready for work in the morning, and these speakers make it easier!
Day 3: Crossword Puzzle book and Hannah Montana pen--I love crosswords, I do not love Hannah Montana, but at least no one will steal my pen now!
Day 4: Breaking Dawn--this is the last book in the Twilight saga. Last year Michael gave me the other three, but we were waiting till this last book came out in paperback. Now my collection is complete

So far, it's been quite a merry Christmas!

Six Months

Where is the time going? Where is this pregnancy going? I'm already six months along, little over half way there! These days I'm feeling little Westly thump and kick more reguarly, at least once a day. Somedays he thumps every time I sit down. Other days he's lazy and gives a few kicks here and there. His favorite and most consistent time to move is around 10pm. Although the other night I woke up at 3am and felt him moving around. I scolded him for being up so late! Michael finally got to feel him this week, which was exciting. Daddy talks to him, and now bids him goodbye in the morning as he leaves for work. Now that Westly can hear outside sounds, I'm sure he's loving all the Christmas fa-la-la. We got our first big nursery gift: glider chair with ottoman, thanks to Moma and Pops Drazin.

Westly is over a foot long now, and weighs a pound and some change

I've put on 5 lbs this past month, my biggest gain yet (I had been consistently gaining 2 lbs each month). Gotta fatten up that baby!

Daddy's weight hasn't fluctuated...although it could with all these Christmas yummies around!
