Fine!

Michael has been promoting his new blog about his story like none other. It's become a joke between us how I am sick of hearing about his blog! haha

But in all fairness, I really should help promote it and give him a shout out here because he is always so supportive of me and my writing. He's my biggest fan and Sherlock Academy's chief publicist. Without him, my book would not be what it is today.

The Holmes Brigade

I have officially released the title of my 3rd book in the Sherlock Academy series. The Holmes Brigade is due to come out this October. I have just ordered a proto-type to check for any formatting and writing errors. Then I will be consulting with my wonderful graphic designer Mr. Ahlgren to design the cover.

I am very excited about this 3rd book. I wrote it during my pregnancy, and edited it during my first months of mommy-hood--there's a good chance this book may be dedicated to a little man in my life!

Sleepy Doodles

My two sleepy doodles slept until after ten this morning. Regular-Doodle (Daddy) was tired from the Harry Potter 7 midnight showing. Mini-Doodle West) was tired from...well, life. Needless to say, I enjoyed the extra sleep too!

Our Anniversary Getaway...With Westly :)

For our fourth anniversary we decided to stay local and skip our beloved Carmel because of the doodle being with us. We stayed 2 nights at Sycamore Springs in Avila (where we stayed on our wedding night). We got a little suite with its own hot tub on the back porch. It was so nice to get away and enjoy some down time...

We always make a stop at the barn in Nipomo where we were married.

Michael and I were able to go out to lunch and enjoy the Avila pier by ourselves

Westly did very well, sleeping as if he were at home, going along for the ride, and livin' it up!

Three Months Old

Our mini-doodle Westly is almost 3 whole months old (on the 6th). He is smiling and laughing all the time, even at complete strangers in Target! He is becoming more interested in his playmat at the toys hanging from it, especially his orange and black striped bee. He doesn't mind his car seat as much, and likes to be out and about. He is not much of a napper, but sleeps pretty well at night. He loves his Mama and Daddy very much.
