Our Anniversary Getaway...With Westly :)
For our fourth anniversary we decided to stay local and skip our beloved Carmel because of the doodle being with us. We stayed 2 nights at Sycamore Springs in Avila (where we stayed on our wedding night). We got a little suite with its own hot tub on the back porch. It was so nice to get away and enjoy some down time...
We always make a stop at the barn in Nipomo where we were married.
It was special to take Westly there
At Sycamore we explored the Labyrinth
Daddy was ambitious enough to run through it
He showed great nerve and patience to endure its many twists and turns!
West and I cheered him on in the shade
Michael and I were able to go out to lunch and enjoy the Avila pier by ourselves
Thanks to Papa watching the little Fig
Westly did very well, sleeping as if he were at home, going along for the ride, and livin' it up!

Dick picked the right name for his time with Westly. You'll always remember your room was called "Placid".
I think three months is a lovely age for a baby. They have got over the shock of being born and got to know their parents!
