Some Magic

We don't waste time around here. The Manor has already decked its halls with Christmas magic. It was really fun to decorate a new home. We brought out our old decorations, along with some new ones, which include a nine-foot fake tree for the formal livingroom, extra garlands for the banister, and red and gold ornaments. You may think it's early to decorate, after all we barely let Thanksgiving pass. But Christmas is here sooner than you think, and we want to enjoy the Christmas manor as long as possible. So cheers!

It's That Time Again...

...When we eat turkey and all its delectable counter-parts, we get together with our loud and lovable family, and we enjoy some time off from work. It's also that time again when we should be thinking about what we're thankful for. Of course we should be doing this all year long, but this is a good time to slow-down and commit some more time to being thankful. So here we go...

My kooky but lovable family
My Bible studies
My small town Santa Maria
My Starbucks on Macoy
My imagination
My cozy blankets
My books
My pink bike
My red car
My great boss
My big bathtub
My crossword puzzles
My perfect weather on the central coast

And of course my awesome God Who blessed me with them all (to name a few)

HTWF Episode II

This morning the doorbell rang, while I was still in my cozy covers. When I went downstairs later, there was a package delivered on my porch. And it was from Amazon. And I almost opened it, then stopped when I realized something: my first Christmas gift has arrived! My hubby has already started Christmas shopping for me! This has me very excited, and of course very curious. I almost wanted to shake it, etc. but I refrained. I wonder what other packages are on their way...

Happy Thoughts with Fauf Episode 1

Sometimes I wake up grumpy....yes, it's true, the Fauf can be grumpy. This is not a usual occurrence. I usually wake up in a good mood ready for the day. But once in awhile (like when I need to sleep longer and a certain somebody wakes up too early on a day off), I'm grumpy. But then that certain someday cuddles me and gives me kisses, despite my grumpiness, and the grumpy dwarf inside me takes a hike. And it's moments like those that remind me what a great hubby I have and what a great thing it is that I have one at all.
