A New 'Do

It was time. And after a grueling ordeal in which West cried, I snapped at Michael, and my red lipstick got destroyed, West gotta haircut

My wonderful hubby surprised me by taking off two days of work so we could go to Disneyland!




We took West in the morning. He went on Small World for the first time and loved it!















This Dumbo ride was all he talked about!



Then we put West down for a nap at my Mimi's house and Michael and I went back to the park for some fast rides and date time!









Never too old to get your Mickey ears!



We ended the day with celebration at Mimi's!

SLO Kids Museum

Last Saturday we hung out with cousin Emma while Lisa and Kyle spent time with baby Ava in the NICU. We took the Doodles to the SLO Kids Museum and had quite the time!

Our Week without Daddy

Michael went back to work after having spring break. So Westly and I kept ourselves busy.



He is starting to do imaginary play. He likes to grocery shop in the kitchen. I am now saving our recyclables for him to "buy"



We spent the mornings cuddling



We got treats at Starbucks. We brought Daddy a treat at work too.



We had one nice evening this week so we ate dinner outside.



One morning we slept in and had pancakes for breakfast.



We hung out with our friends.



We baked treats to surprise Daddy for the weekend.









And we did some art.

A Very Hungry Caterpillar Party

West had quite the day when he turned two! He woke up to find a brand new basketball hoop that he's been obsessed with ever since!






We took him out for breakfast and he got his fave: pancakes with syrup.



He opened a card from great-grandma Mimi with a $2 bill!






After nap time we had the Shaw clan and a few buddies over for a party based on Westly's fave picture book
