March Craft(s)

March turned out to be busier than I thought so I didn't get to the crafts I wanted to. But West and I managed to do some fun Easter crafts.



I made an Easter egg garland with paint swatches. I collected a bunch from Home Depot and cut out egg shapes from them.



Then I punched holes in each one and strung them on a ribbon.



A splash of color for the mantel.



West made an Easter egg mosaic with strips of paper



He also painted a paper egg

Past Weekend

We had quite the weekend!
Friday night was the SLOCRA Annual Author Dinner. Fabulous food and time getting inspired by authors!









We spent the night in Shell Beach at the Spyglass Inn (where the dinner was) We enjoyed an ocean side breakfast.









Then I was off to Sis-in-law Lisa's baby shower


















That evening we got a special delivery: a free play structure for West!






That night while cooking dinner West burned his finger in the oven! We got some ice cream to cheer him up and help him be braver.






By Sunday we were a little worse for wear but agreed it was a fun weekend

Fun with Cousin Mina

We had such a fun time with Auntie Mallory and Cousin Mina.



We indulged in many tasty treats






We explored the Kids Museum






We took many walks to the park






And we played at home






We already miss them!

Fun Down South

We just got back from a quick trip to DrazinLand.



We got our fave ice cream with our fave friend Lisa. They make your ice cream right in front of you via liquid nitrogen.






West had lots of good clean country fun






Mama had a night out to attend a special Sherlock Holmes dinner theatre written, directed, and starring Uncle Eric.



Then we headed home with Auntie Malory and Cousin Mina






Mina was very excited to come visit. More to come on our week together!

Picnic Dinner at Avila

The other night Michael had to run an errand in Pismo. So we all tagged along and had a picnic dinner at Avila.

Early St Patty's Day

We have a tradition: every St Patricks Day we go to our associate pastor's house for cornbeef and cabbage. This year though we have plans for St Pattys weekend so we celebrated early by having our dinner with the Burtnetts last night.


I made Lucky Charms cupcakes!






West especially loved the dessert
