Preggo Photo Shoot

Our friends Sean and Kim Troeger (who own their own photography company) surprised us with the gift of a pregnancy photo shoot. Here are some highlights of Westly and I:

First Peek at Westly's Nursery

The past few weeks we've been working on the nursery. Michael did all the painting. We chose 'Baked Scone' for the wall color, which was nuetral enough to work with, but also warmed the room. Michael also painted by hand the little characters. Our theme is taken from the classic Golden Book picture books that we grew up with. The characters Michael painted are found on the inside cover of every Golden Book. While Michael painted, I sewed. I found Golden Book fabric and made a curtain ruffle, pillows, and more things to come. We're sure Westly will love it!

Seven Months

Here we are at 7 months. Westly (and I) had a growth spurt this week. I'm suddenly very tired, a little sore, and running out of tops that fit. Westly is head down, so I feel his feet kicking up by my belly button. I think he's starting to recognize and respond to my voice. Usually when I stroke my belly and talk to him, he answers back with little kicks. Next we're working on him recognizing Daddy. I'm not sure how it's possible, but I already love him so much!

And we enjoyed another holiday season
