Cheeky Bird
So you all know our history with birds and them building their nests in our wreath. The two different times this happened, it was a symbol of our little Doodle to come. Birds have therefore always been a positive thing...
...until the other day! I was walking home from the park, and when I turned onto our street, a black bird started chirping and following me down the street. It would swoop past my head, land on a branch, and chirp warningly at me. As I got closer to the Manor, the bird swooped closer to my head and chirped more desperately. I literally ran into the house just as the bird barely missed my head!
So weird! I have no idea what the bird has against me. Perhaps he wanted some of my hair for his nest. Or perhaps he has decided to take ownership of our front porch and is warning me of it. Or perhaps he has an urgent message about my future...like I'll be pregnant sooner than I want to be!
Either way, I'm a little freaked out to leave through my front door now!

Obviously it was a male bird... You still have it, girl!
We have a group of them in our street too. You need not worry even with your long hair they won't actually land on you or come in the house unless it is via the chimney!
We had quite a few birds in out chimney when I was growing up in England.
Unless of course you are a distant relative of St. Francis! :)
Love,
Mum
Oh my gosh, be careful Farah! Eek!!!
