The Queen

So my new interest is Queen Victoria. After learning a little about her in London, I want to know more. She sounds like she was a strong, God-fearing woman. She got to marry the love of her life, had 9 children, and ruled an empire. She must have done something right--after all, an entire era of history is named after her! I think I need to get to know her more--she's already inspring me!

Simple Joys

It's the simple things in life that bring me joy:

Hugs and kisses from my hubby
Starbucks yummies
Clean house
Survivor on Thursday
Dates with friends
A thoughtful gift
Bouquet of flowers
Mimi's homemade cookies
Magazines
A good night's sleep
Lunch out
A new idea for my book

Put Another Candle on the Birthday Cake

...Because I'm a year older today! AHHH! So 27 was here and gone. It was quite a wonderful year:

1. I published a book
2. Visited two countries (Italy and England)
3. Got a new sister-in-law (my little bro Eric got married)
4. Got featured in the newspaper
5. Fell more in love with my hubby

I'm excited about this year of 28. A nice even number. I'm determined to live it to my fullest, being that the countdown has begun til 30. AHH! I hope to...

1. Publish my sequel and pursue my writing career
2. Take a road trip
3. Welcome two new babies in the family (neice Ahlgren and TBA Sullivan)
4. Fix my back and be my healthiest
5. Fall more in love with hubby

If nothing else, I am most thankful for another birthday, that I am alive and well and God is using my little life for His glory!

Back on American Soil...

....and missing London. We had a wonderful trip, and of course in some ways it's always good to be home. But we loved England very much and are having withdraws--mixed with jet lag. Here are some highlights (for more pictures, check out my facebook).
